Hope there is a compromise on conf champion games and some creative

scheduling that results from playoff expansion (no matter the exact number).

Get rid of conference championship games
- they are good for money grab only
- most times there is already an obvious best team and game only serves to see if there is an upset (rarely happens anyway).

Implement flexible conference scheduling
- Make the last game of the regular season flexible to provide most impact in determining champion; or
- Pre-determine the first 6 or 7 games of season and make the the last 2 or 3 games flexible (e.g., upper pod created to play it out round-robin or do semi-finals and finals)

G5 teams take full advantage of guaranteed slot
- Shot for more tv coverage/visibility and even a shot at a bye with a week in the middle of the season dedicated to G5 out-of-conference matchups
- Can pre-determine matchups based on preseason expectations or make it flexible. For the latter, in season ticket sales/planning the G5 participants are pre-determined home or away prior to season but not opponent.
