Maybe the blue bloods can't decide if the league would only be for 1 sport,

a few sports, or all the sports that the blue bloods sponsors which could include adding sports. It is even possible that the blue bloods have decided they want to create a league in 2 sports (i.e. football and men's basketball), but they know enough of the other members won't allow the blue bloods to remain in the NCAA for the other sports. If that is the case, then what do the blue bloods do for the other sports they sponsor?
