It would be after Oklahoma and Texas leave the Big XII for the SEC

If L'ville decided to leave the ACC for the Big XII or another conference, then the reason is simple; more money. It is possible this could trigger another major conference realignment that involves the ACC. For example, if Clemson, FSU, and Miami were to leave the ACC for another conference, then the ACC's value would go down even if Notre Dame were to join as a full member. Why would L'ville want to remain in a conference that is losing value instead of joining another conference that is increasing in value? Also, it is possible that L'ville's philosophy on the role athletics doesn't align with the ACC's policy.
