What I would do, be aggressive


Grab five of the B12 schools to get to 19. As Millpoint noted below, there are some excellent options that help both bball and fball. And one that is only bball but a great brand.

Kansas
KSt
Iowa St
WVU
OK st

The last spot to get to 20 is the wild card. Can use it to either try to make a big football move or a big basketball move. For Football, go after ND. For basketball try to steal Kentucky from SEC. both fit our current footprint and both help with negotiations in different ways. The pure power of the basketball lineup would be very valuable.

What I think they are doing is far more conservative and likely trying to not make the first move. They are watching and talking to several schools but they are waiting for someone else to act and set the stage.
