They are just incapable of doing what you describe. Top down management

making decisions with no sense of reality regarding game day operations. They've never experienced mosh pits at gates and concessions, they've never sat in the stands, and they are at a minimum aloof, if not arrogant about their decisions.
It was noted by Berman, in his article, that neither Whit nor Shusok were made available for questions. I have never met or seen Shushok (at least as far as I know), but my observation about Whit is that he's imperious at best. Culture building will not happen under this regime.
