but, you are 100% correct, in my opinion, they should have been part of the article. Once again, the PR machine at VT, both university and athletic, allows the narrative to control them as opposed to controlling the narrative. None of the answers to why this happens and continues to happen are good. The stadium situation, again IMO, is symptomatic of a much bigger issue surrounding leadership and management both within the university as a whole and the athletic department more specifically. These wounds have been open and festering for a while and, if not properly addressed sooner rather than later, will be an even bigger future problem. People can call me old, curmudgeonly and change resistant for my opinion, however, I have no problem with change my issues arise when change is not properly and well managed and the same problems continue to reoccur.
