You raise a good point about management's daily schedule, about

which I have no more knowledge than anyone else. But, when Berman's story is front page news (not sports section news), then someone should have shown up. I never thought I would say this, but while I thought Weaver was surly, I'll stick with my description of imperious for Whit. But, Weaver would show up and take the hard questions for his decisions. I've never met Whit, but my wife did his first year here. She met him and Kevin Jones at a Monogram Club meeting, with one of our nephews. She says my use of the word imperious is overly kind.
