Watched the game after work - so I am late to the party.

In the post game Fu was asked if he spent more time with the offense this week. Indeed he did.

Our offense didn't lose us this game - 36 should be enough to win. Sure, some drives stalled, BB3 was definitely favoring those ribs.

As Fu has worked with defense more than the offense up until this game, and this game was the worst defensive performance/best offensive performance by leaps and bounds. Would this not be evidence that Fu is a good coach? Whichever side he has focused on during prep has performed better.

Secondly, I am a Ryan Smith and JHam fan - as are plenty of others...but man, our DBs struggled. JHam has had 3 years with safeties and feels like that is our worst line.

I know its been discussed Fu wanted Odom with Foster leaving but we didn't have the money. Odom signed for 1.275 (bumped to 1.75 this year). We signed JHam for less than half that. Just seems with a bigger budget he may be more capable with better assistants. We all assume Fu keeps Corn because of the "ludicrous" comment - but certainly feels like we haven't had the budget to make a change.
