The issue on the D isn't scheme related, its talent related. You could


see yesterday that the CBs, particularly Strong, struggled mightily in coverage. Some of that was also due to the lack of pass rush - again, a talent issue.

I think J'ham and Ryan Smith both have very bright futures in the coaching world, but they've both been dealt a pretty bad hand from a talent stand point by this staff's poor recruiting.

EDIT: I do think the evolution of this defense from last year to this is borderline miraculous. I do trust the development prowess by the coaches on that side of the ball from a long term standpoint.
