Do you honestly believe VT and UVA would be willing to reserve an OOC

slot for the other school for at least 2 years maybe closer to 4 years depending on how the cross-division rotation was structured? As I have noted below, a majority of the schools will want to keep the protected cross-division game because they are paired with a rival and they won't want to waste an OOC spot on an ACC foe. Heck you don't see UNC and Wake agreeing to a multiple game OOC series that is on par with the VT-ECU OOC series. Essentially that is what you are asking the schools to do by sacrificing their protected cross-division game.
