Yes, but in terms of forced rivalries the ACC only has 2


compared to potentially 5 natural rivalries.

Natural Rivalries
Syracuse-Pitt
Wake-Duke
NC State-UNC
Clemson-GT
FSU-Miami

Forced Rivalries
BC-VT
L'ville-UVA

My point is that the 2 forced rivalries shouldn't be dictating ACC policy because they are in the minority. Also, if VT had been willing to switch divisions a few years ago, then the ACC could have potentially 7 natural rivalries.

L'ville-Pitt (aka the Ohio River Rivalry)
VT-UVA
Wake-Duke
