of the members. The school has a pretty solid athletic program, so I can understand the logic. If Wichita State becomes a member of the AAC, then I wonder if the Shockers could decide to bring back its football program at some point. It is my understanding that the football stadium has started to deteriorate over the years. Also, since the program continued for several more years after the "Black" or "Gold" plane crashed (I forget which plane) with part of the team/staff on it, I am not sure how much of an obstacle the memory of the incident would be to reinstating the program.
