The Wichita State President still is a football proponent.

But he's saying he wants to have the conference home to know how to approach football, FCS or FBS. With the AAC it will obviously be FBS. So the AAC may not be getting a non-football school if plans play out.

What is funny is that the AAC is looking for an addition to boost basketball. AAC football has been relatively good.
