True. All of the conferences really need to make hay in the next 5-10
years. The monetization of college sports is changing. So what have the conferences committed themselves to?
The PAC has some flexibility, which I like. They can kind of morph with the trends. But if they wind up needing a partner and the market drops, then will they have missed a window to sell for much more?
The ACC is in bed with ESPN and has given ESPN the flexibility to morph. The SEC as well. But ESPN itself is morphing as a company. Will the conference networks get the priority attention they need?
The BTN is co-owned by Fox. They are joined at the hip forever. That could be great...or catastrophic.
