I haven’t seen anything like that…yet. The agent aspect gets into violation of NC state law. So was anyone at UNC complicit or in any way acting as an agent? But we haven’t seen evidence of anything like that. The one agent got nailed. If he was going to squeal on someone else, it would have already happened.

I suggested they did and have pointed that out numerous times…probably more than you.

“Did Swofford act appropriately as ACC Commissioner in responding to such fraud/cheating? “

No. That and Raycom are why I have consistently called for him to be fired.

“Also, If the Raycom deal went down the way that you yourself has suggested it went down, then that was borderline illegal. You yourself have suggested he forced them upon ESPN, if I recall correctly. Sorry, I don't get paid to keep up with you all. But anyhow, that is borderline illegal. I do feel that ACC schools could sue over the action if it were worth their time and the embarrassment.”

I have not said Swofford forced Raycom on ESPN. That dynamic was discussed in the news articles at that time and on the board. I have called it nepotism and called for Swoff to be fired within minutes of it being announced. However, it is not “illegal” because (A) there is no law preventing it, and (B) it wasn’t unilateral action by Swofford. The action itself was approved by the AD’s…so this is another of those “blame Jim Weaver” items.  I think the AD's blindly followed Swofford, but that isn’t Swofford’s fault. There was a serious lack of vision in the room the day they voted on it. They went with what was familiar and comfortable.
