Swofford needs to go too. If the ACC is going to wait on Notre Dame

before expanding, then it could find itself last to join the table for the next round of expansion and left mulling through all the leftovers. It is fine to be cautious at some level when it comes to expansion and media contracts. However, if a conference is too cautious, then it might as well pull out a revolver and shoot itself in the foot.
