NFL needs to remember it exists to entertain fans.

When it does things to alienate fans, it's only to the detriment of the NFL itself. And pushing stuff that doesn't entertain fans, or allowing its player, coaches, or staff to do so will drive away fans. The fans will go elsewhere to some other place that they can be entertained. Fans are not interested in causes. This can be fixed. Hopefully it will be.

I don't want to see college football allow this stuff. College sports are more about the athletes than the fans really, but as we all know college sports have become big business too, so there needs to be a balance. The NCAA has demonstrated an ability get out of hand sometimes as well.
