Overall I think MLS is on par with English Championship

Although I do think there are couple teams that are probably comparable to the bottom half of EPL. I think MLS has had some really bad teams over the years that is probably comparable to the top half of the Football League One.

I can see where travel in the MLS may be an issue. The Russian Football Premier League may be the only league in Europe with similar travel issues as the MLS. I do think the MLS has the potential to eventually be on par with Ligue 1 in terms of reputation and quality of play. Right now I am undecided whether MLS can get to that level maintaining the status quo or whether it will need to make some decisions that may appear to be "foreign" in order to get more top international players in their prime to sign with MLS clubs.
