Another interesting point. I live in Atlanta and we are CRAZY over
our MLS team Atlanta United. The city is loving every second of the team's play and they have really captivated a younger, multi-ethnic demographic at their matches. I vividly recall when the smart pundits all saying how soccer would fail in the ATL and it is incredible how much they really underestimated how a younger and more diverse fan base would respond to the team. After all, they have sold out every match and are earning unexpected sports radio and newspaper coverage.
I love college football and basketball and have always loved international soccer. I now spend lots of time following MLS and I see the NFL declining in my house. MLB is a non issue here.
