Head to an ortho guy, not a chiropractor

I had some terrible lower back pain that would radiate up to between my shoulder blades and made it very painful. Went to an ortho guy, he could not find any big issue just said it was age on the disks. Had me start doing some physical therapy exercises, been doing them since and it relieves all the spasm and tightness issue and stopped all the pain.
