I will say this about Chiro (and a Chiropractor won't say this)

If they can help you, you will see benefits almost immediately. If you don't see improvement after 1, 2 or MAYBE 3 treatments at most, try something else.

Every now and then, I will "throw out" my back. It is an instantaneous twinge followed by crippling pain. If I get to a Chiro within 24 hours, one treatment will have me feeling better later that day, and I'll generally be fine 2-3 days later. Without Chiro, it is a week to ten days before I recover.

But I've also had a degenerating disk in my neck, and Chiro never did a bit of good for that.

Basically in my experience, if something in your spine moved and is causing pain, Chiro can help put everything back where it belongs. But if you have a real medical problem with a disk, they aren't going to do much for you.

Either way, absolutely no reason to see a Chiro for six straight weeks.
