Also suffering from lower back pain. After a week, went to doc who

prescribed methlprednisone. Worked almost immediately the first day. It's a pack where you take 6 the first day and decrease by one each day for 6 days. Felt great for 5 days and on the sixth, felt the pain starting to come back again. That was yesterday. Doc had also recommended Phy Therapy. I've never found that to be of value, except maybe to the phy therapist. So.. I guess it may be back to a back surgeon. I had a laminectomy 15 years ago for a herniated disc at L4-L5 and it worked great for about 14 years before starting to give me problems again. Now it's back I guess along with a pinched nerve in my neck at C6. Getting old is a bitch.
