Another round of TV questions.TV

After looking at several affordable TV (by my personal standard), I've pretty much decided the two best ones are TCL in either 55" or 65", and the Vizio 55" & 65", as long as the Vizio models end in 8, such as M558 or M658 as opposed to M557 or M657.

CNET rates the TCL TV's at the top of the heap. Very good picture along with the built in ROKU system. The ease of using streaming apps is unparalleled according to CNET. Unfortunately, for me personally, there is a big problem. TCL is a Chinese company. I am now personally trying to buy stuff made anywhere but China.

Which brings me to Vizio. CNET rates the picture quality of the M558 & M658 models up there with the more expensive Samsung and Sony models. However it is gigged for it's poor remote and for it's slow clunky use of apps when on the streaming side of the TV.

I looked up the history of the Vizio company. Vizio is American owned and headquartered. It doesn't make TV's here. About half are made in Taiwan, and the balance are made in Red China and places like Mexico.

Do you think a possible solution is to get a Vizio and the get a ROKU stick? Would mating the Vizio TV side with a ROKU stick take care of the clunky, slow use of streaming apps?

Thanks foe any help.
