The streaming on our 60 inch which is a Dec 2015 model can be slow at times

But I think it is more of a internet issue than TV. Note that not all the streaming apps are available to download on our model due to its age. We do have a Chromecast plugged in and use my PS4 to stream as well.

I have never had an issue with the remote, I only use that when we are using the Over The Antenna, scanning channels, or switching between inputs.

When we bought this model in Jan 2016 4k prices were finally dropping. We paid 1k at Sam's and got the 5 year warranty plan they offered. If I can get 10 years or more out of this like the previous Vizio, I wouldn't hesitate for one second to get another. Hope that helps you out!
