Happy with Vizio and AppleTV, although hate touch screen remote

My personal preference is for TV to just be a monitor. My experience is built-in apps will not be well made nor maintained and best to go with external streaming device, like AppleTV or Roku. Haven't tried Roku though I might if/when I decide to cut the cord. The 4th gen AppleTV remote is hard to use but read someone on here got another old school one that still worked with it that I will investigate in my free time someday.
