If you just leave the TV on the Roku input it eliminates that issue when...


...you turn it on. Only needs to change inputs when going to antenna , DVD or gaming system , which he would have to do anyway. Plus , Firestick remote will pair with Vizio TV and it comes with built-in Chronecast. Roku is a great system and if price is your main concern then TCL is a great choice , but I think you get more features (future proofing) with a Vizio and a 4k streaming stick .
