The same company has the HDHomerunPrime which works with cable as well


and eliminates the need for up to 3 cable boxes. I pay a couple bucks a month for a cable card instead of the 2 cable boxes I'd be paying for otherwise. Also, like LaneRat suggested, I use their phone app occasionally out in my garage or yard.

Granted, some of these benefits are getting smaller and smaller as more content is available from the internet, but the quality is usually better via cable.
