Guess where all the parts come from, you can't "get" anything not made in


Red China. Even if the tv is "made" in Taiwan, the parts are created in Red China. Your roku China, networking equipment, yep China, cables or wireless devices, yep China. Point being not sure why you are going to make yourself "suffer" for a subpar tv for your needs. Standing on the wrong hill to die on imo.

For ease of use, go with TCL better than Vizio for the reasons you described. I also recommend using rtings.com for tv, etc. reviews.
