That's the route I took with my Vizio. 2018 P-Series 55"..


...eliminates the built-in steaming system and it's inherent flaws. Unless things have changed , the Vizio has a better native refresh rate and more local dimming zones and comes Dolby Vision ready. The only real flaw I've found is the rear panel HDMI connections access are very tight. My suggestion would be to connect a couple of cables while you still have it flat.
