Letter from IRS yesterday, short version "You never filed you 2019 taxes"

My version of the story

Filed taxes March 28, 2020 through Turbotax which replied "you're taxes have been accepted" still have that message.

Did an ammendment in May b/c my K1 finally showed up, wrote them a check foolishily for the difference. Check was cashed. :^/

In August, they sent me a letter saying "send this following information" I did, the next day stuff they should have that information.

Called four times over the months using the telephone number on the letter they sent me. If you put a telephone number on a letter you sent you really need to move me along in the telephone message directly to somewhere closer to the objective not the general information number which no one answers. Para Espanyol marque dos! I did talk to someone several times on the phone after waiting over an hour and they were worthless, basically telling me I was scheduled to be paid. (In English that's go away don't bother me)

Now I get a letter from them saying I haven't filed taxes. That's awesome. There's a telephone number on that form, does that at least take me to say, collections, that is someone who knows and cares about me albeit in the wrong way? Anyway, I've already done my taxes in Turbotax, just need to print out the paper form now, just kinda worried they lost the trail on the check I wrote. I know in past years I was able to go to the IRS and see those kind of things, but their website is worthless these days too, I get pretty angry with their phone lines tell you there's a long wait, hang up now and use our website!!!! I scream obscenities into the phone.

But seriously, at least fingers crossed they have someone/something tracking this now I can talk to, just worried that the first copies will "show up" and confuse things.

I know they all got paid during these uncertain times. Rant over.
