If he's in his mid teens now is the time where you as a parent


Have to decide what liberty you will begin granting for making and accepting the consequences of decisions. I would counsel him some more on making sure he understands the long term implications for the prior stated goals and then lay out alternative options as well. Maybe thier are rec options that will allow for the social opportunities again for example. Its not a zero sum prop here
