Based on how this year appears to be going, it wouldn't surprise me

if none of the G5s support the idea of giving an automatic bid to all the P5s, but only 1 automatic bid to the highest ranked G5. If Wake loses a regular season game this year, then there is a good possibility that 3 G5 champions could end up ranked higher than the ACC Champion; Cincy (AAC Champion), UTSA (C-USA Champion), and Coastal Carolina (Sun Belt Champion). It is even likely the 5+1 proposal may even violate antitrust laws.
