Interesting, but not sure there is enough money in it


to make it work economically. Connecticut only has 3 to 4 million residents. Women's basketball is big there but not anywhere else (on that scale). Playing them as an independent in football probably would not generate much money either - either in TV revenue or ticket sales at ACC venues. They would just be like an ODU or ECU to most folks.
