So far I have never gotten a large refund

At best I have broken close to even or in most cases pay less than $100 to both Uncle Sam and Aunt Virginia. As far as the W-9 goes, I have tried to max it as best as I could for a single person with 0 dependents. So, I am not sure how revising it would help my situation and if I did revise it, then what I should change on the W-9.
