I thought both PTO (lump sum) & bonus were taxed at damn near 40% for me.


I always hear "you get it back at the end of the year" but every year it doesn't seem to happen. My theory (and this isn't meant to offend any CPAs) is that they look hard enough to get me to where I want to be (+/- $1000) and they stop looking.
