that could build a football stadium on campus. Whereas, if you look at a map of the area, then you will see Miami doesn't have enough land on campus to build a football stadium. You could even say that Miami is landlocked given all the development that has taken place around the campus. Plus, the campus has Lake Osceola and a couple canals running through it which increases the likelihood that the campus could have some undeveloped marshy land too.

It is worth noting that UCLA plays its home games in the Rose Bowl which is 45 minutes - 1 hour (depending on traffic) away from campus. Does that mean that people don't UCLA's program seriously because of that factor? FWIW I found this article from 2018 which lists 23 DI-FBS schools that play their home games in off campus stadiums. It even includes the distance from campus. I believe Temple is now off the list because it is either building or just finished building a football stadium on campus (or next to campus).
