Good question, IMHO the only way the 30 team thing works is
For those 30 to get all the TV money both P5 and G5 get now. The other 100 will essentially be separated from any bankable amount of that TV money. Whereas these schools are not now rolling in TV money, the current distribution does fund a significant part or football operations. With none of that, they would have to downsize.
One other thing I think that, under this model many people don't get that there is no real current power out there to stop the 30/TV from cutting the others off other than suing them.
So it just appears to me that schools will have to decide for themselves at what level they will fund an expensive football that provides no incoming funds. No one will force them to go GII, it will simply be the chosen option (or dropping football all together) when the TV distributions dry up.
