I'd rather get to the 4 pods of 4 before doing this with 14 teams.


The ACC tried very hard to assimilate all of these new members. If we do an Old ACC vs New ACC, it gives the appearance of insiders vs outsiders. I don't think that will be beneficial.

Going to 4 divisions of 4 and rotating POD scheduling would solve most of these issues. There is constant debate here on who would be the additional two members, whether Notre Dame should be accommodated, and who would be in which POD.

Some want UConn and WVU. Others hate those choices. I want one of those two plus Navy as football only. Then we have the issue of the Big XII and its future. So there are many possibilities. But ultimately I'd like to see the ACC at 16 members for scheduling.
