If ND had beaten Stanford, they would have been ranked fifth at the end.


ND would have been 11-1. They could have perhaps been sixth behind Iowa at 12-1 because of Iowa's extra win.

Oklahoma would have still dropped from third to fourth like they did because they didn't have a Championship Game. Notre Dame was already behind Oklahoma and would not have jumped them.
