The best parts of that conference are here now.

ND played Pitt and Boston College before they were in the Big East I believe. Now ND is playing them in the ACC. Those two have long time series playing Notre Dame especially Pitt.

Some others in the ACC with historical series would be Miami, Georgia Tech, and North Carolina. ND does not have much history with the two Virginia schools.
