No one is going to watch most non-revenue college sports on television

The ACC is great in non-revenue sports. Probably as good or better than any other conference. But if the ACC Network (whatever it proves to be) is successful, you can bet that it will be football and a heaping helping of men's basketball. No one watches ACC lacrosse on television. No one watches ACC baseball. No one watches college soccer. I think those sports are great and the ACC has some wonderful programs. But they are not going to make money on television. It's part of the reason the Longhorn Network is failing. No one watches Texas volleyball.

Look at the SEC Network and all the other conference options. It's not like those folks are showing track tournaments all the time. Instead, they're showing Ole Miss versus LSU football from year X. That's what the viewing public watches.
