Totally agree.

My vision for a college football playoff is to have 7 conferences of round robin and 1 at-large bid for independents, G5 and conference runners up to fight over (selected by a committee).

Bring back:
SWC
Big8
Big10
Pac10
ACC
BigEast (PSU and old eastern schools)
SEC

...all with some variation where needed. Would be awesome.
