Ice hockey is a sport where the G5/DII schools out number the P5 schools.

I think by quite a wide margin. Unless the P5s decide to elevate their club programs to the varsity program, then it will be interesting to see what happens with the ice hockey tournament. Soccer and baseball may be 2 other sports where the G5 schools have a strong stake in the postseason tournament.
