Connecticut is more populous than Kansas,


more populous than Iowa, more populous than West Virginia, more populous than Nebraska, and about the same population as Oklahoma.

The ACC will serve itself well trying to market its brand and network into that population center rather than letting another competing league do so, and it would be stupid to let another league do so and then later look at one of the above mentioned smaller states at all down the road. That makes no sense particularly since Connecticut is right in the northern footprint of the ACC requiring no travel alterations.

The Big Ten should be there with its office in New York City with only Rutgers athletics as a local representative. I know the yada yada yada about Big Ten alumni, but they are out of towners mostly. The ACC has plenty of those too, but the ACC should have local tri-state athletic programs like Syracuse and UConn.
