we'll see a restructuring. Is anyone not named ESPN overtly working to try to salvage the current CFP before it expires? The Alliance isn't.

And I don't think a restructuring has any inherent anti-trust vulnerability; there is no need to throw a bone to anyone. If what we currently know as the P5 elects to form an exclusive club, it can. Nothing prevents any non-members outside that club from doing their own deal. That's what we have now; multiple tiers and multiple organizations doing their own thing.
